“Teaching involves cultivating a skillset of being able to translate abstract ideas and concepts into building blocks of knowledge, and there are parallels in that process to being able to communicate complex events going on around the world into useful pieces of information. Giving interviews also requires the willingness to answer directly the question at hand, and to cultivate the mindset of going into the interview to be helpful to the audience.”
