UVIC story: German student completes her internship in Canada during COVID lockdown 2020

Isabelle Steiger, our international intern from Germany ( Public Management student at the University of Applied Sciences Kehl) started and finished her EUCAnet internship at the Centre for Global Studies during the COVID lockdown restrictions in the summer 2020. In Spite of the quarantine regulations and the lockdown Isabelle was able to participate in EUCAnet’s  international collaborations and explored Victoria, BC with her bike.  After her internship, Isabelle continues her studies with a specialization in European Studies at her home university.
