CEDoD Video Series Overview, by the EUCAnet Team

During the conference “Constitutionalism in the Age of Populism” (March 2020, just before the COVID lockdown) a series of video interviews was produced in a collaboration between EUCAnet’s project Canada Europe Dialogue on Democracy (CEDoD) and the Cedar Trees Institute initiative. Selected scholars were invited to reflect on the question “What are the challenges populism poses to democracy?” to capture the various approaches of senior and junior scholars to this question.

The film production team included: Beate Schmidtke (Concept/ Interviewer), Ben Perrier (Interviewer), Fazila Mat (Video Summaries), Karen Yen (Photography), Levi Glass (leviglass.ca Videographer), Equipment supplied by MediaNet.

The outcome is a rich snapshot of scholarly expertise and an archive of the topics that were discussed during this event.
