Carens, Joseph
Joseph H. Carens’ research focuses on contemporary political theory, particularly on questions about multiculturalism and immigration. He is a full professor at the University of Toronto and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. He is the author of over 60 articles or book chapters focusing primarily on issues relating to immigration and multiculturalism. Dr. Carens recently published a book on the ethics of immigration.
Media Experience: Dr. Carens has acquired a great deal of media experience appearing on the CBC Radio program “Ideas,” and he has also participated in a number of interviews in print media.
