
Gremmelprez, Femke
Femke Gremmelprez is an academic assistant at the Ghent European Law Institute. She also holds a Master’s degree in Law (Ghent University, 2014) and a Master’s degree in European Union Law (Ghent University, 2015).
Her research interests encompass first of all EU internal market law, in particular the free movement of persons. Therefore, she wrote her Master’s dissertation on the Citizenship Directive 2004/38 in the light of the case law of the European Court of Justice. Further, it concerns upholding the democratic values within the European Union in relation to the behavior of certain reluctant Member States.
