
Hari, Amrita
Amrita Hari is the Director and an Associate Professor at the Feminist Institute of Social Transformation. Her research focuses on global migration, transnationalism, citizenship, gender, diasporic formations, intersectional identities and acts of resistance of refugees and asylum seekers. Dr. Hari’s work engages with the notion of “doing gender” within the context of migration, gendered division of household labor, and the Canadian labor market.
