Jakhu, Ram
Prof. Dr. Ram S. Jakhu is a tenured Associate Professor at the Institute of Air and Space Law, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. For the last 30 years, he has been teaching and conducting advanced research in international space law, law of space applications, law of space commercialization, national regulation of space activities, and public international law. Since 2010, he has been spearheading the world’s most extensive and multi-million-dollar academic Space Law related research and outreach program. Currently, he is the Project Director of an international research for drafting Manual on International Law Applicable to Military Uses of Outer Space (MILAMOS). He has served as Director of the McGill Institute of Air and Space Law; as well as Faculty Member and Director of the Master of Space Studies Program of the International Space University, Strasbourg, France.
