
Soupault, Jules
Jules Soupault (he/him) is a PhD student and currently co-supervised by Pr. Emmanuel Brunet-Jailly (UVic, School of Public Administration) and Pr. Birte Wassenberg (University of Strasbourg). For his dissertation topic, he is working on a comparison between the socio-historical construction of “smart borders” in North American and European borderlands, more precisely in Akwesasne and Derry/Londonderry. As a former student of the Institut d’Études Politiques in Toulouse (France) and the Linnaeus University in Växjö (Sweden), Jules Soupault has a background in International Relations, Political Science and Contemporary History.
