
Stewart, Rosa
Rosa Stewart is an Assistant Teaching Professor in Hispanic and Italian Studies (Humanities) at the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies (University of Victoria). Professor Stewart is also a Coordinator of the Study Abroad program at the Universidad de Alcalá, in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. Her research interest is in the cultures of the Hispanic world, specifically in 19th century realism novels, colonial and contemporary Mexican novels, bilingual education, literature and the Spanish language. She takes part in the UVic Speakers Bureau and has worked and traveled extensively in Spain.
