
Vilpišauskas, Ramūnas
Ramūnas Vilpišauskas is a Professor and was the Director of the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University from 2009 to 2019. He worked as the head of the Economic and Social Policy group and as the advisor to the President of the Republic of Lithuania HE Valdas Adamkus. Ramūnas Vilpišauskas graduated from Vilnius University (Faculty of Economics), Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Lancaster University (UK). He studied or trained at the University of Oslo (Norway), the European University Institute (Italy), the University of Columbia (USA) and other foreign higher education institutions. His research interests are in the field of Regionalism, European economic and political integration, International political economy, Analysis of changes in public policy and the role of the state, Institutional and economic reforms.
