“Speaking to the media involves a few things. Let me name the three that come to mind: First, what does the media want you for? Second, what does the audience, to whom the outreach is directed, likely already know and what would you be able to add? Third, what is the one thing you would like the audience to take away? To answer these questions is pretty tough. One of the most difficult things is to realise that you need to keep things short and simple, but not dumb it down. Finally, enjoy it. It is fun!”
