New Fellowship as Part of the Memory Politics Project
Ann-Kathrin McLean (Doctor of Social Sciences candidate at Royal Roads University) is the recipient of the Konrad Adenauer Fellowship through the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria.
The fellowship will allow Ann-Kathrin to contribute to the Jean Monnet Network on European Memory Politics: Populism, Nationalism and the Challenges of European Memory Culture. This network studies contemporary political life in the European Union and focuses on several topics such as the memory of the continent’s totalitarian past, the recollection of the World Wars, communism and colonialism, the Holocaust, and the Cold War.
We congratulate Kathrin on her fellowship and look forward to her contributions when researching how history is reinterpreted and passed from one generation to the next.
